Ernest has been working as the 1st call woodwind player at many of the Broadway theatres in and around the Boston area. Equally at home with every woodwind instrument and also a master repairman, he performs with regional jazz bands, classical orchestras and rock wedding bands; a true master of all styles and instruments. In 1997, the composer and good friend, Michael Donavan, wrote Conversations for Alto Sax to specifically feature Ernie’s brilliant versatility. It has been publish nationwide and recorded on the latest New England Brass CD – “Londonderry Air.”
